Fraught

Hey, here's something fun! A long time ago back in high school (EW I'M OLD) I designed a character who was supposed to be a carnivorous plant disguised as a human (so that he could lure in and then eat other humans). His body on the inside was just a system of digestive acids and whatever (like a venus fly trap has). (Also, no real science has ever happened in my brain, so whatever.)

So I was reminded of him lately and wanted to redesign him to use in some comics. Click here to see the first drawings I ever made of him. Brace yourself for high school art!
(I can't remember if I had read Uzumaki yet when I had drawn that picture... seems inspired...)

Anyway, I redesigned him. I think his name is Fraught. He's super fun to draw!

He's still a man-eating plant monster. I'm gonna try to put him in Bo's little story and see how it works out. I am working on some really short little scenes, mostly for myself, just to try and figure out their interaction:

Lame. I wish that was finished, but I have to sleep a little bit because COMIC CON TOMORROW! on cartoon network's dime, no less! yay!!! later :B

We met at SDCC and gushed about working for CN.

This is a lovely little blog you have here.
And your sketches are so sweet!
    (Even as carnivorous man-plants).
